There can be a lot involved in moving to a new area, whether it is a different country, different state, or even a different part of Illinois. However, it should also be a fun and exciting process! I have the experience and expertise to help you make a smooth transition. I have been a Realtor® since 1984, and as a Realtor®, I adhere to a strict Code of Ethics which includes professionalism, honesty, and confidentiality.

I am a CRP (Certified Relocation Professional), and have extensive experience working with relocation companies and transferees. If your employer is providing relocation benefits, you will likely be provided with a list of preferred real estate agents. In most cases though, you are able to work with an agent of your choice instead, even if they are not on the list, without impacting your benefits.

I have also earned the e-PRO designation and can offer a variety of on-line tools to facilitate communication and streamline your transaction. I understand the time constraints that transferees are often under, and will work to help you make the most of the time you do have available. Moving TO the Naperville Area

I have earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designation and have worked extensively with relocating buyers. I will take the time to familiarize you with the area and will help you find a home you will love. My Community Resources page is also a great starting point for information on specific communities, schools, and transportation.

Market conditions, contracts, and the closing process vary from area to area. The impact that particular property features have on resale can also be different in different areas. I will go over everything with you so that you will know what to expect from the entire process and will help you evaluate the resale factors of each property.

If you are moving from another country, you will also need an agent who can patiently explain the special nuances of Real Estate transactions in the United States. I hold the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation, and have experience working with international clients.

Even if your move is not scheduled for several months, we can start now! I will set up a free account for you on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) with automatic listing searches. This interactive system allows you to mark your interest levels and add comments to each listing. As you go through the listings you will get an idea of what options are available. Based on your feedback, I can then work with you to refine your searches and eliminate homes that do not meet your needs.

I will also provide you with recommendations for other service providers, such as lenders and attorneys, and help you through the pre-approval process. This way, when you make a trip to the area, all the preparation will have been done and you will be comfortable enough to focus on choosing a home.

Moving FROM the Naperville Area

I have worked extensively with relocating sellers, and have the experience and expertise to help you navigate the home selling process, including any specific requirements of your relocation package. I work extremely hard to see that all of our listings sell for top dollar with the least amount of inconvenience to the seller.

The benefits and terms of relocation packages vary. Market conditions, contracts, and closing requirements also change over time. I want my clients to be very comfortable with all aspects of their transaction, so even if you have sold a home before, I will guide you through the entire process.

If your relocation package includes a buyout offer, there are often benefits and incentives if you sell your home before the buyout. Your relocation company will have guidelines that you will need to follow in order to get the benefits, and there is usually a deadline by which to accept the buyout. Getting the listing process started early will ensure that you are ready to list your home as quickly as possible so that you can take full advantage of whatever time you have available before that deadline.

I know that the purpose of your relocation is to start work in your new location. My goal is to enable you to focus on your new position without having to worry about selling your home here. If you move out before your home is sold, I will check on it routinely and will advise you of any conditions that arise. I can also help you with arranging for any needed repairs and maintenance.
